Excited for Next Wednesday 3/25/09

The Hinckley Institute of Politics has partnered with STAND to bring Dr. Samuel Totten to the U. Dr. Totten is a professor at The University of Arkansas and is a member of the Center for Genocide Studies. His work with the refugees in Darfur as a member of the U.S. State Department's Atrocities Documentation Project lead to the classification of the situation in Darfur as a genocide. He has compiled histories of refugees from Rwanda and, most recently, from Sudan where he was gathering oral histories. Dr Totten will be speaking on Wednesday, March 25th at 2:00pm in the OSH Caucus Room. This is another incredible opportunity to learn about what we're fighting for, and at no cost to yourself.
*** I hope to see everyone there ***

Arizona Bound

So this weekend Ben and I are going to Arizona for Chris and Constance's wedding. I am so excited! Not only for Chris and Constance to get married, but for this mini vacation for Ben and I. Both of us have been under alot of stress lately (especially Ben, with the new business venture). So it will be nice to get away for a few days, just the 2 of us. Our dogs aren't even coming with us, GASP, I don't know what I will do with myself. Anyways, a shout out to LTG, thanks to you, my dogs are saved from a weekend of loneliness, and neglect. I will post pictures of the wedding when we get back. PEACE!
